From 26 October 2026: Intercom Becomes KYRA:Support and Moves to the Left Navigation with a New Icon

The in-app assistant for contacting Fenergo Support, currently known as Intercom, will be rebranded as KYRA:Support and will move to a dedicated item at the bottom of the left navigation menu. The floating Intercom button in the bottom-right corner of the screen will be removed, so it will no longer sit over buttons, tables or other page controls.

Key Details

From 26 October 2026:

  • Rebrand: The support assistant will be called KYRA:Support, with a new icon. The Intercom Access permission will be renamed Support AI Agent Access, under the Support heading in Security Configuration. Only the display name will change. The scope reference (IntercomAccess) stays the same, and existing team assignments will carry over automatically.
  • New location: The KYRA:Support item will appear at the bottom of the left navigation on every page, in every tenant where the Intercom button is currently available.
  • Same support experience: Selecting KYRA:Support will open the same support window as today, anchored to the bottom-left of the screen. While the window is open, the item will change to a down arrow. Selecting it again will close the window.
  • Page spacing restored: The extra space currently added to the bottom of pages to accommodate the floating button will be removed, returning pages to their standard spacing.

Implications

  • Page controls such as pagination, task action buttons and journey boards will no longer be obscured by the support button.
  • There will be no change to who can access KYRA:Support or to what happens inside the support window, or the ability to receive notifications through the icon.

Client Adoption Guidelines

No action is required. From 26 October 2026, administrators looking for the support permission in Security Configuration will find it as Support AI Agent Access under the Support heading.
