Screening V2: Document Management Permissions for Supporting Documents
Working with supporting documents in Screening V2 now also requires the Document Management permissions, in addition to Screening Edit. Check that the teams who work on screening tasks have the permissions they need before this change applies to them.
In the ODS and OGS screening tasks, each document action now checks the matching Document Management permission. Users who do not have it do not see the control.
Permissions Impact:
Changed:
| Permission Name | What it now also controls in Screening | Scope Reference |
|---|---|---|
| Document Management Access | Opening a supporting document. Without it, document names are shown as plain text and cannot be opened | DocumentManagementAccess |
| Document Management Create | Uploading a supporting document, and reusing an uploaded document | DocumentManagementCreate |
| Document Management Create Virtual | Adding a virtual document, and reusing a virtual document | DocumentManagementCreateVirtual |
| Document Management Delete | Deleting a supporting document | DocumentManagementDelete |
Screening Edit is still required to upload, add, reuse or delete supporting documents.
What to check: review the Teams of users who resolve screening hits or provide entity supporting documents, and add the Document Management permissions above where they are missing. Otherwise those users will no longer see the upload, virtual document, reuse or delete controls in screening tasks, and will not be able to open documents.
See the Permissions Catalogue for the full list of Document Management permissions.
